Why Not Just Diet?


rasberrySurly the answer is in the very word – to diet!

According to Paul McKenna there are over 25,000 diet books in the world, surly if diets worked for life, there would be just 1!

Diets do work for an instant quick fix, no matter which one you choose. However, while you starve yourself of something and feel more emotional and hungry your body adapts to the smaller portions and when you resume some normality with food BANG the weight goes back on.

Diets only work at changing behaviour, not the underlying emotions and thoughts that drive the behaviour (see article on ‘Root cause, emotions not behaviours’ for more detail).
